Pads for the Planet
Reusable sanitary pads - hassle free
Why you should buy Pads for the Planet pads:
These pads last several years and the average person would find that after 3 years of using reusable sanitary pads rather than disposable pads they will have saved £30!
Peace of mind
These pads are much more eco-friendly and create considerably less waste than conventional, disposable pads. Even the carbon dioxide released during transport has been offset through planting trees.
Comfortable and easy to clean
These pads are made of bamboo, meaning they are really comfortable as well as durable. They are very easy to clean - just rinse with cold water straight after use then put them in the washing machine.
Supporting a start-up
I'm only 14 and trying to get started in the world of business and would really appreciate your help by buying my products.
What are they made of?
They are made of microfibre fabric and cloth with a waterproof PUL layer.

Focused on providing an affordable, eco-friendly alternative to disposable sanitary pads - so you can have comfort and peace of mind.
What are they?
Reusable sanitary pads are pads (for periods) that are made out of microfibre fabric. You wash them after each use and can reuse them.
How long does each pad last?
I can't answer this directly but I've found that they generally hold about double the amount of blood and therefore can last for approximately double the time of normal daytime disposable pads - this is subjective however.
How do you wash them?
Once you have finished using it you will need to rinse it in cold water (this normally takes about 45 seconds) then you can put them in the washing machine on a normal wash and reuse them after that.
Did you make them?
No, these have been bought off a third party and are being packaged and resold by me. This is a project but I would like to grow into a bigger business so may start selling some other reusable products (maybe you could check in a year or so)
Which way up do they go?
The black part of the pads goes facing up - the patterned bit should be facing the pants.
